This open competitive advertisement is for a SES (Selected Exempt Service) position located at Central Office in the Office of Legislative Affairs, Citizen Services Unit.
The mission of the Office of Legislative Affairs, Citizen Services is to facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the Florida Department of Corrections and the legislative branch, as well as to provide responsive and accurate information to citizens. This office aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and public trust through proactive engagement and service.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. This check must be completed before they can start working or volunteering.
