City Of Atlanta Careers seeks an investigator for the Atlanta Citizen Review Board to conduct investigations into officer-involved incidents, prepare reports for hearings, and support board activities.
The role requires strong writing, interview, and analytical skills, plus experience in accountability investigations and familiarity with IAPro and common office software. On-site work with community engagement is expected.
General Description and Classification Standards
The purpose of this job is to provide investigative services for the Atlanta Citizen Review Board ("ACRB"). Responsibilities include conducting investigations; preparing investigation reports for use in administrative hearings; supporting the work of the Board and preparing investigative summaries and various other reports; etc.
Supervision Received
Under the supervision of the Investigations Manager of the Atlanta Citizen Review Board ("ACRB"), the investigator will perform professional‑level investigative work primarily involving officer‑in‑volved‑shootings/officer‑in‑ custody‑deaths and use of force allegations in connection with the actions of sworn members of the Atlanta Police and Corrections Departments.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Additional experiences described in section 2 and 3 may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis (one year of experience equal to 30 semester units or 45 quarter units)
Licensures and Certifications
Must have a valid Georgia's driver's license.
