Job summary

Cape Analytics is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to own the strategy and execution of security across its network, products, and corporate systems. Based in NYC or DC, you will lead a highly technical team and partner with the executive team to enable rapid product innovation while maintaining top-tier security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security with at least 5 years in senior security leadership.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed engineering teams.
• Proven track record building security programs from early stage.
• Ability to translate technical risk to executives and the board.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end security strategy across network, products, cloud, and IT.
• Build and lead a security team capable of defending a carrier-grade network.
• Design security architecture from RAN to core data systems.
• Partner with Engineering to embed security in the product development lifecycle.
• Lead threat modeling, pentesting, red-teaming, and incident response programs.
• Set security policy to the board and executive team, balancing risk and speed.
• Vet and manage relationships with external security vendors, auditors, and researchers.
• Champion a security-first culture across the entire company.
