Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is an award-winning company delivering technology-based solutions to federal customers. The Network Engineer SME - Cisco role requires hands-on experience with enterprise networks and security controls, including Cisco devices and Palo Alto firewalls.

You will implement, optimize, and secure networks, collaborate across teams, and contribute to documentation, threat assessments, and incident response activities as part of critical mission support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT network administration experience with design, deployment and management of network infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls supporting secure networks.
• Proficient in RADIUS, TACACS+, and 802.1x using Cisco ISE for access control.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation, planning, and execution of IT network projects and upgrades.
• Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies to improve performance and efficiency.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize throughput and QoS.
• Develop security measures and perform regular security assessments and reporting.
