Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Network Administrator to lead the planning, implementation, and security of our network infrastructure serving federal clients. You will work on Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPNs, and wireless networks, ensuring high availability and security across environments.

The role requires extensive experience with RADIUS/TACACS+/802.1x, Cisco ISE, and related security tools, plus familiarity with CIS/NIST/STIGs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT Network Administration experience with Firewalls, Routers, Switches, LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Proficient in RADIUS, TACACS+, and 802.1x using Cisco ISE and related tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related IT/Com/Sec field with ~8+ years of Network Admin work experience.
• Knowledge of CIS, NIST SP 800-53 Rev.5, DISA STIGs and security hardening frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT network solution projects and upgrades aligning with goals.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
• Perform regular network maintenance: firmware updates, patches, and hardware replacements.
• Provide technical support for network issues and outages.
• Support and troubleshoot network security measures.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects.
• Experience with Federal Security Operations Center capabilities.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity.
• Respond to security incidents and contain/remediate issues.
• Strong documentation and communication with non-technical stakeholders.
