Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a network engineer with deep Cisco data center and switching expertise in a North American setting. You will design, deploy, and support core LAN, data center, and campus networks across large enterprise environments.

The role emphasizes ACI, SDA, DNAC, ISE integration and strong hands-on with Nexus devices, BGP/OSPF, VXLAN, and high availability protocols. Expect collaboration with customers and vendors and active incident resolution.

Qualifications

• CCNP Certification (Routing & Switching) or higher
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Data Center with ACI environment
• Expert understanding of LAN switching technologies including STP, VLAN, and VTP
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus devices and VSS/VDC/VPC configurations
• Experience with IP addressing and VLSM
• Experience with network design, deployment, and troubleshooting in large scale environments
• Experience with network orchestration and automation using Cisco ACI/APIC, SDA & DNAC with ISE integration

Responsibilities

• Provide operations support across Enterprise LAN, Data Center, and Campus in North America
• Install, configure, and support network equipment including Switches & Routers using APIC & DNAC
• Configure and support Cisco ACI Spine-Leaf, Nexus switches, APIC and APIC-EM
• Resolve connectivity problems between applications, EPGs, and external networks
• Troubleshoot routing contracts and endpoint learning issues
• Maintain external connections (L3Out, firewalls, load balancers) and enforce security policies
• Plan and perform APIC and switch firmware upgrades
• Escalate as needed and drive service improvements with stakeholders
• Collaborate with customers, infrastructure teams, and Cisco or vendors
