Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior CIS Architect/Delivery leader to own the CIS solution blueprint, design bill calculation architecture, and oversee end-to-end integration across OMS, GIS, IVR, and ERP. You will lead a team of 4–10 CIS consultants and drive data migration from legacy systems while aligning with regulatory tariff schedules.

The role requires extensive CIS experience, SAP IS-U/S4HANA or Oracle CC&B/CCS, and strong stakeholder collaboration across utility operations and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of ten years of CIS consulting or utility technology experience.
• Minimum five years in CIS solution architecture or functional delivery leadership.
• Experience leading CIS data migration: customer master, billing history, and AR balance migration.
• Two full-lifecycle CIS implementations at electric/gas/water utilities as lead architect or functional lead.
• CIS integration architecture with 2+ of MDM, AMI head-end, OMS, customer portal, IVR, or ERP/GL.
• Hands-on configuration in SAP IS-U/S4HANA Utilities or Oracle CC&B/CCS.

Responsibilities

• Own the CIS Solution Blueprint: data model, SA structure, rate design, billing cycle, and collections/dunning.
• Define bill calculation architecture with determinants, proration, budgeting, estimation, and exception handling.
• Lead Fit-Gap workshops across multiple business units.
• Govern configuration standards and review functional design documents.
• Translate tariff schedules into implementable rate configurations.
• Author test scripts for billing cycle, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Design AMI/MDM integration and reconciliation.
• Oversee CIS integrations with OMS, GIS, IVR, portal, payments, and ERP/GL.
• Lead a team of 4-10 CIS consultants and integration specialists.
