Job summary

ECPI University Greenville campus seeks a full-time Cyber & Network Security Faculty Member to deliver hands-on instruction in cybersecurity and networking. The role focuses on practical labs, real-world applications, and preparing students for IT security careers.

The position involves teaching undergraduate courses, using five-week terms, small class sizes, and close collaboration with program leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Alternatively, master's with 18+ graduate semester hours in a related discipline.
• Ph.D. is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Cyber and Network Security courses in a hands-on learning environment.

Overview

ECPI University is seeking a full-timeCyber & Network Security Faculty Member to deliver high-quality, hands-on instruction in cybersecurity and networking. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about teaching and preparing students for real-world careers in IT security.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Cyber and Network Security in a hands-on learning environment
• Deliver instruction in five-week terms with small class sizes
• Provide individualized academic support to students
• Incorporate real-world cybersecurity and networking practices into teaching
• Collaborate with program leadership to enhance curriculum and course delivery
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications

Education

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  OR
• Master's degree with 18+ graduate semester hours in a related discipline
• Ph.D. preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of industry experience in cybersecurity or networking (10+ years preferred)
• Experience in applications of AI in Cybersecurity
• Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications in cybersecurity
• Teaching, training, or public speaking experience preferred
