Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a professional PIC to safely operate Cirrus SR22 aircraft under FAA regulations and flyADVANCED procedures. Primary bases are Wings Field (KLOM) and New Castle Airport (KILG), with diverse day/night schedules across locations.

You will perform flight planning, weather analysis, pre/post-flight inspections, and client-focused briefings, while maintaining logs and documentation; travel and on-call readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 1,200 hours fixed-wing with 500 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, 75 hours instrument.
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airplane) and Airplane Instrument Rating.
• Current FAA Medical Certificate.
• Work authorization to work in the United States and travel without restriction; valid passport and driver’s license.
• Residence within a reasonable driving distance of at least one operating location (KLOM or KILG).
• Flexible schedule to support day, night, weekend, and holiday operations.
• Strong communication and professional interaction with aircraft owners and passengers.

• Conduct thorough flight planning and weather analysis for every mission.
• Complete all required pre-flight and post-flight inspections and duties.
• Deliver professional passenger briefings and attentive, high-level service throughout each trip.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and aircraft documentation.
• Promptly identify and communicate aircraft maintenance discrepancies; ensure aircraft readiness.
• Support safe, professional, and on-time operations; perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Minimum qualifications

• Flight time: 1,200 hours total fixed-wing (rotorcraft/helicopter time does not apply), including 500 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, and 75 hours instrument.
• Certificates & ratings: FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airplane) and Airplane Instrument Rating.
• Medical: Current FAA Medical Certificate.
• Work authorization & travel: Authorization to work in the United States and travel without restriction; valid U.S. passport and driver’s license.
• Location: Reside within a reasonable driving distance of at least one operating location (KLOM or KILG).
• Availability: Flexible schedule to support day, night, weekend, and holiday operations as needed.
• Professionalism: Strong communication, sound decision-making, excellent customer service, professional appearance, and the ability to interact effectively with aircraft owners and passengers.

Preferred experience

• Ability to conveniently support both KLOM and KILG.
• Cirrus SR22 experience.
• Garmin avionics proficiency.

Bases & operating environment

Primary bases: Wings Field (KLOM) in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and New Castle Airport (KILG) in New Castle, Delaware. Operations combine FAA regulatory compliance, manufacturer guidance, and flyADVANCED standard procedures to deliver safe, consistent, and client-focused flights.

Pay & schedule

• Rate: $75.00 per hour
• Schedule: Variable and mission-driven; includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
