Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking an experienced registered nurse in Cape Coral, FL to provide clinical nursing services across preop, intraop, and postoperative care. You will assess patients, document findings, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include formulating care plans, documenting accurately, and adhering to legal and ethical standards. Active participation in professional nursing activities and ongoing patient education are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physiological and psychosocial health status of patient.
• Verbal reports pertinent information to appropriate staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Legibly documents information in the patient record and signs with appropriate title.
• Assesses patient understanding and expectations of care.
• Establishes patient/family goals that are mutually acceptable.
• Formulates Plan of Care for the patient.
• Implements nursing care plans tailored to patient/family needs.
• Responds to emergencies and acts within Nurse Practice Act and policies.
• Maintains accountability with safe judgment and professional conduct.
• Assists with preoperative communication/report and surgical case counting.
• Performs patient identification verification and surgical site marking per policy.
• Participates in a professional nursing organization.
