Job summary

Southwest Health in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time CirculatingRN to work 4–9 hour days in the Surgery Department, with an on-call rotation requiring a 30-minute response time. The role involves providing nursing care under medical staff direction and following individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

You will use the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) to support patients, work with the surgical team, and adhere to current nursing standards

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); additional department-specific certifications may be required.
• Wisconsin RN licensure and eligibility to practice in Wisconsin.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and RN scope of practice.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with department-specific equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to the Nurse Practice Act and current standards.
• Follow individualized care plans and use the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Work with surgical team in the Surgery Department and participate in on-call rotations.
