Job summary

Western Carolina Surgery Center is seeking a PRN OR Circulating RN/Scrub RN to support ambulatory surgery cases. The Circulating RN will position, prep, and circulate cases in a multi-specialty center with a focus on quality patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited RN program with an active state RN license and relevant certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS). At least 1 year as a circulator is preferred, with strong nursing judgment and teamwork skills valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Positioning the patient during surgery.
• Prepping the patient for surgery.
• Circulating the case during the procedure.
