Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, Florida, seeks a Circuit Card Design Engineer to develop and test digital circuits for data acquisition and computing systems. You will generate specifications, select components, and support layout and verification testing.

Essential responsibilities include schematic capture, PWB layout, detailed design, test plan creation, and integration testing. Candidates must be able to obtain a US security clearance and work in a collaborative hardware/Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of related experience; graduate degree or 0–2 years with equivalent experience.
• Experience with high-speed memory and network interfaces is desirable.
• Knowledge of digital design techniques and test equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical circuits and systems, including schematic capture and PWB layout.
• Understand CCA design process from requirements to integration and test.
• Build and test prototypes of electronic devices and systems; conduct experiments to validate performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, perform repairs and maintenance.
• Use schematic software suites for circuit card designs (Capture, Constraints, Layout, Simulation, Timing).
• Generate independent CCA design solutions.
