TouchTronics, Inc. is seeking a dependable Circuit Board Assembler to join our PCBA team in Elkhart, Indiana. You will operate production equipment, assemble boards, and follow procedures to deliver high-quality electronic products.

The role offers full-time, benefits-eligible employment with a Monday–Thursday schedule and no regular weekend work, plus hands-on training and opportunities to gain experience in equipment programming and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• 0–1+ years of experience with small components, circuit boards, electronics, or product assembly.
• Crafts or detailed handwork experience also valuable.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT, circuit board, and related production equipment safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Assemble printed circuit boards and electronic components per established specs.
• Read and follow work orders, process instructions, and engineering docs.
• Use hand tools, computer systems, and manufacturing equipment.
• Count products and maintain accurate inventory and production records.
• Inspect parts and finished work to ensure quality specifications.
• Notify management of defects or conditions affecting quality.
• Assemble, test, and label products for reliable delivery.
• Support engineering changes and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

What You’ll Do

• Operate SMT, circuit board, and related production equipment safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Assemble printed circuit boards and electronic components according to established specifications and procedures.
• Read and follow work orders, process instructions, engineering documentation, and production requirements.
• Use hand tools, computer systems, and manufacturing equipment.
• Count products and maintain accurate inventory and production records.
• Inspect parts and completed work to confirm that all components meet quality specifications.
• Notify management of defective materials, process concerns, or conditions that could affect product quality.
• Assemble, sort, test, and label products accurately and efficiently.
• Complete final testing to help ensure reliable, high‑quality products are delivered on time.
• Assist with equipment programming and production adjustments.
• Support engineering changes, corrective actions, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members to meet production and customer requirements.
• Perform other related duties as business needs evolve.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• Zero to one or more years of experience working with small components, circuit boards, electronics, or product assembly.
• Experience performing crafts, detailed handwork, or other small‑piece assembly may also be valuable.
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
