Job Summary and Qualifications

As an ED Registered Nurse (RN), you will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate care for patients. You will collaborate with healthcare teams, monitor patient conditions, and provide education to patients and families.

• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments regularly.
• Conduct triage assessments for emergencies.
• Report injury causation, neglect, or abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Develop care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Verify, document, and administer medications properly.
• Provide health education and document care.
• Evaluate patient progress and intervention effectiveness.

Job Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN.

Education

• Associates degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Texas RN license or Compact license (must obtain Texas license within 90 days if Compact).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS or ALS certification.
• PALS or ENCP certification.
• TNCC certification.
