Job Summary and Qualifications

As an ED RN, you will assess, develop care plans, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and monitoring physical, emotional, social needs.

• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments regularly.
• Conduct triage assessments for emergencies.
• Assess injury causation and report neglect or abuse.
• Formulate care plans with expected outcomes.
• Verify, document, and administer medications properly.
• Provide health education to patients and families.
• Evaluate patient progress and document interventions.

Job Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN.

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Texas RN license or Compact License (Texas license within 90 days if Compact).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS or ALS certification.
• PALS or ENCP certification.
• TNCC certification.
