Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Job Summary
Responsible for providing outstanding, friendly, and informative guest service while maintaining safety throughout the property as directed. Works to ensure maximum guest safety at all times while periodically patrolling assigned areas.
Essential Job Functions
- Practice, support, and promote the Company Service Standards at all times.
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards and ensure direct reports comply with all policies.
- Assist the Supervisor in daily activities; provide training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve issues.
- Maintain a professional departmental, company, and community environment.
- Answer guest questions in a manner that reflects understanding of the department and property.
- Protect the company's assets against theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Observe and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Escalate emergency situations to the Assistant Director and Director as needed.
- Assist the Security Manager in ensuring all shift administration is completed correctly and on time, including incident reports, logs, statistics, and other documentation.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form.
- Understand and comply with all company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to multitask.
- Availability to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to obtain required work cards.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Complete property academy as assigned.
Physical, Mental, and Work Environment
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Work environment may be hot, cold, noisy, with potential secondhand smoke; ability to see color.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Constant contact with team members and guests.
