Job Title: Assistant Casino Shift Manager
Department: Table Games
Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Casino Shift Manager / Director of Table Games
Job Summary

Supervises all table gaming on an assigned shift. Conducts surveillance of gaming to ensure all areas are properly staffed with competent personnel. Observes game operations to ensure compliance with the department's system of internal controls, company policies and procedures, Title 31, and state gaming regulations. Has the authority to issue markers to players authorized for credit and provide complimentary privileges. Acts as a customer relations representative for the casino, maintaining good relationships with customers, staff, and management.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Practices, supports, and promotes the Company Service Standards at all times.
  2. Responsible for company assets.
  3. Ensures all rules, policies, and procedures related to gaming and casino credit activity are followed across shifts.
  4. Works closely with Surveillance and Internal Control Departments to ensure asset protection and profitability.
  5. Performs duties of the Table Games Shift Manager as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Effective communication skills with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal forms.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive gaming experience.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  4. Ability to work any shift or hours.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with electronic gaming and player tracking systems preferred.
  6. Full knowledge of Title 31 and Gaming Control Board regulations.
  7. Ability to obtain/renew Nevada Gaming License.
  8. Must be at least 21 years old.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical, Mental, and Work Environment
  • Requires normal vision, ability to see color, and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for operating equipment.
  • Work may be noisy and involve secondhand smoke.
