Atlantic Pipe Services, LLC is seeking a skilled CIPP Technician to join our trenchless rehabilitation team. The role focuses on installation and rehabilitation of underground sewer and stormwater infrastructure using Cured-In-Place Pipe technologies, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have CDL Class A, Hazmat experience, and the ability to operate CIPP equipment, perform inspections, and coordinate with supervisors to meet project specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of underground utility/construction/trenchless rehab experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications.
• Must be able to travel and work flexible schedules as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CIPP liner installation, setup, curing, and reinstatement activities.
• Operate and maintain CIPP installation equipment, boilers, steam units, inversion drums, compressors, and generators.
• Transport equipment, resin, and project materials to and from job sites per DOT and Hazmat rules.
• Maintain and document CDL and Hazmat transportation records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Support excavation, bypass pumping, traffic control, and other trenchless operations as needed.

Position Summary

Atlantic Pipe Services is seeking a skilled and motivated CIPP Technician - CDL A, Hazmat to join our growing trenchless rehabilitation team. This position plays a critical role in the installation and rehabilitation of underground sewer and stormwater infrastructure using Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) technologies.

The ideal candidate has experience operating CIPP installation equipment, transporting materials safely, and supporting all phases of trenchless rehabilitation projects. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, equipment maintenance, and teamwork while ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of CIPP liner installation, including setup, cleaning, lining, curing, and reinstatement activities
• Operate and maintain CIPP installation equipment, boilers, steam units, inversion drums, compressors, generators, and support vehicles
• Transport equipment, resin, and project materials to and from job sites in accordance with DOT and Hazmat regulations
• Maintain and document all required CDL and Hazmat transportation records
• Assist with liner wet-out, resin handling, calibration tube installation, inversion, steam curing, hot water curing, and UV curing processes as applicable
• Monitor curing operations and record temperatures, pressures, and curing data throughout installation
• Perform cleaning, inspection, and preparation of pipelines prior to rehabilitation activities
• Assist CCTV crews with pre- and post-installation inspections as needed
• Read and interpret project specifications, plans, maps, work orders, and municipal requirements
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CIPP equipment and vehicles
• Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment
• Ensure all work is completed according to quality standards and project specifications
• Complete daily reports, production logs, safety documentation, and equipment inspections using company systems
• Support excavation, bypass pumping, traffic control, and other related trenchless operations as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, inspectors, and crew members
• Maintain clean, organized job sites, trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA standards, and site-specific requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years of underground utility, construction, trenchless rehabilitation, or related field experience preferred
• Experience with CIPP installation preferred
• Valid CDL Class A license required
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements
• Experience operating heavy equipment and utility construction equipment preferred
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and project specifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot field equipment
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules when project needs require

Safety & Work Environment

• Must follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, DOT regulations, and site-specific safety requirements
• Required to wear PPE and maintain a safety-first mindset at all times
• Regular exposure to construction sites, confined spaces, traffic environments, chemicals, resin materials, and underground utility systems
• Ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, climb, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting exceeding 100 pounds with assistance
• Must be comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
• Travel required throughout the Southeast, including occasional overnight stays and weekend work based on project schedules
