Job summary

SAK Construction in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced construction Project Manager to oversee CIPP pipeline rehabilitation projects. You will develop schedules, manage budgets, review contracts, and coordinate with field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Construction Management or Engineering, hands-on field management experience in water/wastewater construction, and familiarity with percent-of-cost accounting and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
• Water or wastewater construction experience preferred
• DBIA certification or experience with collaborative project delivery methods preferred
• Familiarity with percent of cost accounting systems
• Experience with project scheduling utilizing Microsoft Project or other project management systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedule and budget; prepare weekly/monthly progress reports
• Review, prepare, and secure contracts from customers and subcontractors
• Prepare construction estimates and ensure site surveys for estimating are complete and accurate
• Update project costs and commitments; account for project profit and loss; ensure timely billings and collections
• Prepare performance metric reports and analyze monthly labor hours and subcontractor values
• Lead month-end financial reviews including revenue recognition and job cost review
• Administer project meetings to adjust schedules with Superintendent, Field Engineer, and subcontractors
• Secure project submittals and field documents; perform site investigations for quality and safety
