Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a CIP Technician for the 3rd shift to maintain sanitation standards across production lines in Germantown, WI. You will perform CIP cleaning of filling machines, sanitize surfaces, and handle chemicals while following GMP and SSOP requirements.

You will document cleaning activities, participate in trainings, and work closely with the Sanitation Manager to uphold food safety and quality across the facility.

• Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP cleaning of filling machines and production equipment.
• Clean walls, floors, ceilings, vents, piping, and exterior equipment surfaces.
• Safely handle chemicals, sanitation tools, and steam-driven hot water hoses.
• Respond to sanitation emergencies including spills and tank cleaning.
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and COP tanks.
• Perform chemical titrations and transport chemical drums as needed.
• Follow HACCP, GMP, PPE, and all food safety procedures.
• Complete sanitation documentation and maintain cleaning records.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and team activities.
• Work independently while maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: Base = $23.00 + $2.50 Shift Premium (+ based on experience)

Position Overview

Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the CIP Operator is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards and completing Master Sanitation Schedule tasks in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies. This role plays a key part in ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance throughout the facility.
