Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage in Germantown, WI is seeking a CIP Technician for 1st shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) to maintain sanitation standards and execute Master Sanitation Schedule tasks per SSOPs, GMPs, safety rules and company policies. You will help ensure food safety, quality and compliance across the facility.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with limited supervision, and good English communication; prior sanitation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in sanitation or cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP cleaning of filling machines and production equipment.
• Clean walls, floors, ceilings, vents, piping, and exterior equipment surfaces.
• Safely handle chemicals, sanitation tools, and steam-driven hot water hoses.
• Respond to sanitation emergencies including spills and tank cleaning.
• Follow HACCP, GMP, PPE, and all food safety procedures.
• Complete sanitation documentation and maintain cleaning records.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the CIP Operator is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards and completing Master Sanitation Schedule tasks in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies. This role plays a key part in ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

• Perform CIP cleaning of filling machines and production equipment
• Clean walls, floors, ceilings, vents, piping, and exterior equipment surfaces
• Safely handle chemicals, sanitation tools, and steam-driven hot water hoses
• Respond to sanitation emergencies including spills and tank cleaning
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and COP tanks
• Perform chemical titrations and transport chemical drums as needed
• Follow HACCP, GMP, PPE, and all food safety procedures
• Complete sanitation documentation and maintain cleaning records
• Participate in training, meetings, and team activities
• Work independently while maintaining high-sanitation standards
• Other duties as assigned.
