Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years sanitation experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with CIP systems strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, and sanitation practices; ability to read and follow SOPs/SSOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation per SSOPs.
• Operate and monitor CIP systems, ensuring correct chemical concentrations, temperatures, flow rates and cycle times.
• Safely mix and apply chemicals following SDS and manufacturer guidelines.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for COP as required.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections to verify cleanliness before production start.
• Maintain sanitation logs and CIP records; report deficiencies or safety risks.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot CIP systems.
