Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Sanitor to clean and sanitize processing areas and equipment on the 3rd shift. You will operate CIP systems, verify chemical concentrations, temperatures, flow, and cycle times, and maintain sanitation logs.

The role requires 1–3 years in food/ Beverage sanitation, knowledge of FDA GMPs, and the ability to read SOPs/SSOPs; physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in wet environments. Eligible for full-time, on-site employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years sanitation experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with CIP systems strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, SSOPs, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities per SSOPs.
• Operate and monitor CIP systems and document key parameters (chemical concentration, temperature, flow, contact time).
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for COP as needed.
• Maintain sanitation logs and verification documentation.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance including FDA FSMA and GMPs.
