Job summary

Kemps Dairy, a farmer-owned DFA member, is seeking skilled machine operators for a rotating schedule to maintain, set up, and troubleshoot dairy processing equipment. You will process finished or raw materials while following GMP and collaborating with all departments to meet daily deadlines.

The position offers a 10pm–6:30am shift, competitive pay at $26.22 per hour, 401(k) with company contribution, healthcare, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for growth as we promote from within.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic across units.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
• Must be able to push/pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dairy processing machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues.
• Process finished or raw materials in accordance with GMP and daily deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure smooth operations.
