Gfoat is seeking a CIP Coordinator in the Engineering department to assist with the coordination and delivery of the City’s Capital Improvement Program. You will collaborate with utility providers, manage project schedules, and help develop policies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Under supervision of the CIP Engineer, you may lead smaller projects and serve as the primary contact for utilities across CIP projects, improving consistency and efficiency across the program.

The CIP Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination and delivery of the City's Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Under the supervision of the CIP Engineer, this position coordinates assigned capital improvement projects and may manage smaller projects of limited complexity, while serving as the City's primary point of contact for utility coordination across all CIP projects.
This position also supports continuous improvement of the City’s CIP program by developing policies and procedures to help ensure that project delivery exceeds standards, schedules, and budgets.
Ability to offer excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with stakeholders and co-workers.
Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinances, and codes that govern construction
Skills in oral and written communication
Ability to interpret plans, maps, and specifications and to recognize divergence of plans in construction items
Knowledge of civil engineering processes and capital improvement project delivery
Skills in developing policies and procedures for complex processes
Experience in project management and coordination between multiple parties
Skills in handling and prioritizing tasks
Knowledge of utility coordination and right-of-way practices
