Job summary

KBR’s CIO Team Lead role supports a government customer in the Northern Virginia area. The incumbent will lead a team of contractors and serve as the primary technical contact, guiding execution and resolving program issues.

This contingent position aligns with KBR’s mission and the planned spin-off of Trinzic. Candidates must hold current TS/SCI clearance and bring extensive IT program management experience, executive briefing capability, and proven leadership across locations.

Qualifications

• CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
• Requires four years of experience managing IT O&M and IT enhancement projects.
• Experience providing materials for senior leaders such as strategic papers and executive briefings.
• Experience performing executive action tracking.
• Experience guiding program performance, resource planning, and procurement strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, or related field with 8 years experience.
• High school diploma with 12 years of experience.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly qualified candidate to act as Team Lead for a team supporting the Chief Information Office (CIO) at a government customer in the Northern Virginia area. The CIO Team Lead will lead and manage a team of contractors / subcontractors, directing their efforts and serving as the primary point of contact with the government customer on technical execution and project issues.

Primary Responsibilities

• Mange and direct all project operations of the team operating from multiple work locations.
• Brief leadership on program status and milestones
• Develop procedures for successful program execution

Required Qualifications

• CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance
• Requires four years of experience managing projects providing project enterprise Information Technology (IT) Operation and Maintenance (O&M) support and IT enhancement projects.
• Requires experience providing technical support materials for senior leaders such as strategic papers, options analyses, executive briefings.
• Demonstrated experience performing executive action tracking.
• Experience guiding program performance, resource planning, and acquisition/procurement strategy.
• Required Education \ Relevant Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, or related technical field and 8 years of experience
• High school or High School Equivalency Diploma and 12 years of experience

Desired Qualifications

• Experience translating mission priorities into actionable IT roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable outcomes as it relates to counterintelligence and security missions.

Basic Compensation

$172,900 - $211,400 (This range is for Washington DC Metro Area Only).
