Job summary

Sentar is seeking a CIO Services Task Lead / CIO Strategy Support in Maryland to provide strategic and operational leadership for IT and cybersecurity initiatives within the DC3 context. The role emphasizes enterprise IT architecture, portfolio governance, and robust communication with the CIO and directorate.

The ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience, deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud strategies, and data initiatives, and can drive alignment with mission priorities while

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising teams in DoDI 8140.01 workforce elements (IT, Cybersecurity, Software engineering, Data/AI) within the last 3 years.
• Experience briefing a CIO and CISO on agency-wide planned, recommended, and directed actions to enable unity of effort and operational effectiveness.
• Experience supervising personnel translating orders from senior military/agency leaders in last 7–10 years.
• Experience leading LAN/WAN and network infrastructure in government/private environments similar in scope to this TO.
• Experience with unified communications and VTC systems for multi-level classifications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps including containerization and IaC.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments in last 5 years.
• Experience developing and implementing modern data strategies including data lakes in last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of enterprise IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop and align IT enterprise strategic initiatives with the DC3 mission.
• Oversee cloud strategy and enterprise data strategy.
• Provide governance for enterprise portfolios and establish reporting mechanisms.
• Optimize IT resource allocation and conduct cost-benefit analyses for build/buy decisions.
