Job summary

Y-12 National Security Complex seeks a CIO-level leader to manage Information Solutions and Services, directing cyber operations, risk management, and enterprise architecture. The role drives security governance, policy development, and staff leadership to secure CNS/NNSA information assets.

The position requires deep IT and cybersecurity expertise, on-site engagement in Oak Ridge, and experience guiding a Security Operations Center and risk mitigation efforts within a DOE/NNSA framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in information systems, cyber operations and risk management.
• 5 years' experience in a supervisory role.
• On-site presence at Y-12 in Oak Ridge, TN; ability to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary lead for CNS in Information Solutions and Services.
• Ensure risk-balanced security measures are integrated into IT projects and activities.
• Lead the IS&S managers in developing, implementing and operating a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Oversee and coordinate input into IS&S architecture including cyber aspects for detection, analysis, containment and response.
• Establish metrics to gauge program effectiveness and perform internal audits and assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of CNS and NNSA information; ensure compliance with DOE/NNSA and NIST requirements.
