Job summary

ProbablyMonsters is seeking a multidisciplinary Cinematic Media Artist to craft external and internal marketing assets. This onsite role sits within Creative Services in Fort Worth, TX, supporting a global team of world-class marketers and developers.

You will work with Unreal Engine 5 to create bespoke cinematic sequences, trailers, and gameplay videos, updating builds weekly and collaborating closely with creative directors, producers and marketing executives to realize the creative vision.

Qualifications

• Experience creating game capture for a development studio or creative agency.
• General understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and Sequencer.
• Experience in creative video editorial work in a post-production facility or creative agency.
• Mid-Senior level knowledge of industry standard video editing software.
• General understanding of post-production workflows, video formats and process.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; must provide a current demo reel.

Responsibilities

• Compose and capture cinematic gameplay sequences for trailers, ads, social videos, presentations, etc.
• Work in Unreal Engine 5, creating bespoke cinematic sequences that utilize existing game assets or modify them where necessary.
• Create compelling trailers, imagery, and gameplay videos for external and internal purposes.
• Maintain and update game builds on a weekly basis.
• Edit in both a supervised and unsupervised capacity.
• Generate shot lists based on creative briefs, pitch decks and editorial string outs.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and marketing executives to ensure creative vision is achieved.
• Report and communicate gameplay issues/bugs to development teams and creative services team.
• Flexible and team orientated. Manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Coordinate delivery of produced content for distribution on acceptable channels.
