Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician to operate audio, video, and projection systems for media demos, screenings, presentations, and events at their HQ in San Francisco. Availability on weekdays, weekends, and evenings is required.

Responsibilities include routing signals, setting up PA systems, content management on projection systems, and maintaining A/V spaces. Preferred experience with cinema projection, Dante, ProTools, Crestron, and KVM systems.

Qualifications

  • Must have excellent customer facing skills and exposure handling critical high-pressure issues for all levels of employees, including ELT members.
  • Fundamental understanding of audio and video signal flow, Cinema projection systems, live sound mixing, wireless mic systems, and live event workflows.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, problem solving, and documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, collaborate effectively with event teams, and work well with others under pressure.
  • Competency in both Mac and PC Operating Systems
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentations in a Corporate Event environment.

Job description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician to operate Audio, Video, and Projection systems in their state-of-the-art facilities at their HQ. This role will be responsible for operating systems for media demos of Dolby Technologies, Film Screenings, Presentations, and Events. Additionally, this position will require weekday, weekend, and evening availability.

  • Knowledge of and experience using Cinema projection systems.
  • Knowledge of and experiencing using Dante, ProTools, and Audio Architect.
  • Experience using Crestron Systems
  • Experience using complex KVM systems.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $27 - $36 per hour
