Reporting to Director – Supply Chain Applications, as the Lead, IT Applications, you will partner with Supply Chain and Logistics business users globally to implement or enhance Order Management, Order Promising & Warehouse management capabilities to meet business needs. You will also work on Oracle as well as non-Oracle products in Ciena’s Order management and distribution landscape.
You will lead the design and implementation of robust and scalable solution in logistics and distribution using Oracle Order management, Cloud GOP/BM, warehouse management, cloud OTM/GTM and inventory capabilities and lead the identification of opportunities for improvement.
Working with internal and external stakeholders including Order management, distribution and Scheduling Business Users, external implementation team, AMS Partner, Product team, Ciena PMO Teams and internal IT Teams, you will drive projects in Order management, Order scheduling & distribution functions.
You will interact with the business and work with multi location teams to plan the activities required to meet project deadlines.
You will oversee AMS support for Order Management, inventory configurations, Cloud GOP/BM, Warehouse management and peripheral logistics management systems, troubleshooting issues. Identifying root causes and debugging & delivering robust timely fixes in case of urgent Ordering, scheduling & shipping issues.
You will design Supply Chain with Oracle R12 & legacy applications.
You will review new functionalities in quarterly release patches on Cloud solutions.
