How You Will Contribute:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Systems, as Senior Analyst, Finance Systems, you will be responsible for supporting various accounting projects and various business users (spread across APAC, EMEA and North America regions) through analysis, design, development, planning, testing and implementation of enhancements to existing and new systems. The position will leverage Oracle E-business Suite technology to enhance accounting process and/or develop new processes for an ever-changing business. This position will work closely with accounting team to understand current procedures and recommend solutions to streamline processes. You will also work closely with internal and external developers in the design, development, testing and implementation of requirements and knowledge transfer. You will be involved in regular Month end/Quarter end closure activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Support corporate projects, system upgrades and strategies.
  • Successful candidate will need to be hands-on and responsible for the functional life cycle of projects, including but not limited to:
    • Management
    • Design
    • Development
    • Implementation
    • Training
    • Documentation
  • Analyze requirements and develop solutions for various financial systems.
  • Work with business users to set the scope and requirements for new projects.
  • Identify and recommend alternative methods and technologies to meet business needs.
  • Develop test plans based on requirements and technical specifications.
  • Co-ordinate with various users for UAT testing of various enhancements/projects.
  • Create and maintain service level agreements.
  • Conduct requirements walk-through to obtain an understanding and approval.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalation of problems and issues.
  • Configuration of Oracle Finance Applications:
    • AP, AR, GL, AGIS, FA, Cash Management, Costing, Ebtax and IExpense.
  • Implement New Oracle Applications.
  • Provide recommendations for development, improvement, or simplification as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Must Haves:
  • Strong Accounting and finance knowledge.
  • Experience in end-to-end business processes in areas including but not limited to finance, procurement, inventory management:
    • Order to Cash,
    • Procure to Pay, and
    • Record to Report.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials Configuration for Oracle E-business Suite and Oracle Fusion.
  • Strong analytical, listening, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and delivery skills.
  • Understanding of technology/concepts and its applications to business processes.
  • Effective and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain and Finance business processes, including a strong cross-functional understanding of Oracle Applications.
  • Ability to understand and develop SQL Plus queries is a plus.
  • Proven understanding of External and Internal Oracle integrations.
  • Familiar with Microsoft tools to document business requirements and processes- MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Oracle ERP Implementations Experience.
  • AI & BOTs experience is a plus.
