Job summary

Saddleback Valley Unified School District - ELS Department is seeking enthusiastic leaders to join the TLC Before and After-School Child Care team in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. You will help plan activities, supervise Kinder through 6th grade, and mentor Student Child Care Leaders to ensure safe, fun programs.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 12:15pm–5:45pm. We offer no weekends or holidays, plus benefits like paid time off, paid vacation, discounts, and advancement opportunities—a role that pays you

Qualifications

• Two years of college or 48 units required; AA degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to plan and lead engaging activities for children.
• Strong communication with students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate an engaging child care program for K-6 students.
• Plan, organize, and lead activities that are fun and educational.
• Supervise students and guide junior leaders while keeping safety a priority.

What You'll Do:

• Be part of facilitating an awesome, engaging child care program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
• Plan, organize, and lead exciting activities that keep children engaged and learning.
• Supervise school-age children and guide Student Child Care Leaders, making sure everyone has fun while staying safe.

What You Need:

• A smile! Be ready to bring out the best in children through sports, games, crafts, and activities.
• Basic skills in math, reading, and writing, with the ability to keep records and communicate effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Have completed two years of college or 48 units, or an AA degree or higher.
• No college credits? No problem. Take a brief District Proficiency Exam in mathematics, reading, and writing. A test can be scheduled here.
