Cicoil is seeking a Stockroom Lead to supervise a small stockroom team in a high‑mix, low‑volume aerospace manufacturing environment. You will ensure timely receiving, storage, issuing and tracking of materials using Epicor, maintaining data integrity and inventory accuracy to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires coordinating with Production, Procurement and Planning, driving continuous improvement, and enforcing safety and material handling standards.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Stockroom Lead is responsible for the hands‑on supervision of stockroom operations and a small team of stockroom associates, supporting uninterrupted manufacturing at Cicoil. Operating within a high-mix, low-volume aerospace manufacturing environment, this role ensures the right materials are received, stored, issued, and tracked accurately — keeping the production floor supplied without interruption while minimizing excess inventory and material waste.

Using Cicoil's ERP system (Epicor), the Stockroom Lead maintains accurate inventory records, leads cycle count execution, manages floor stock and consumable replenishment, and coordinates daily with Production, Procurement, and Planning teams. This role works side‑by‑side with the stockroom team and holds associates accountable to accuracy, throughput, and continuous improvement standards.

We are looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented lead who brings a process‑minded approach to the stockroom floor, maintains high standards of data integrity, and communicates clearly with cross‑functional partners to prevent material shortages before they impact production.

Success in this role looks like: inventory accuracy consistently above target, cycle counts completed on schedule, materials issued correctly and on time, and a stockroom team that operates efficiently with clear ownership of their areas.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred

Experience:

• 2-4+ years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, materials management, or supply chain operations
• Experience leading an inventory or warehouse team of 2–5 employees
• Hands‑on experience with ERP or inventory management systems required; Epicor experience a plus
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred; aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries a plus
• Experience conducting cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation

Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of stockroom and inventory control principles, including material storage, labeling, FIFO, safety stock, and min/max replenishment.
• Familiarity with how stockroom accuracy impacts production scheduling and inventory valuation.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with lean or 5S principles as applied in stockroom environments is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Daily Operations

• Leads and directs daily stockroom activities, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Assigns work and priorities to stockroom associates and provides hands‑on guidance and coaching.
• Trains new and existing team members on stockroom processes, ERP transactions, and company expectations.
• Enforces company policies, safety standards, and proper material handling and labeling procedures.
• Confirms timesheets for stockroom employees per the payroll cycle.

Inventory Control & Accuracy

• Ensures all materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized in designated stockroom locations.
• Leads weekly cycle count execution, verifies accuracy, investigates discrepancies, and escalates findings to management.
• Conducts periodic stockroom audits, including identification of expired or obsolete materials and coordination of proper disposal.
• Identifies and communicates inventory shortages to Procurement; monitors shortage status on a daily or weekly basis as needed.
• Supports ongoing efforts to reduce excess and obsolete inventory month over month.
• Maintains accurate inventory records in Epicor; reviews and approves cycle count quantity adjustments within authorized scope.

Material Issuing

• Ensures all production jobs are issued the correct materials before being released to the production floor.
• Communicates BOM discrepancies (quantity, part number, or description) to Engineering as they are identified.
• Confirms that proper Manufacturing Outlines (MO) are attached to production jobs prior to release.
• Verifies that jobs are split correctly before material issuing is completed.
• Monitors shop item and consumable inventory; performs miscellaneous material issuances as needed.

Receiving & Material Receipts

• Receives completed "Make to Stock" jobs into inventory by confirming quantity and lot traceability.
• Coordinates with Receiving Inspection daily and promptly communicates material discrepancies to the appropriate team.
• Ensures received materials are properly staged and stored in correct locations in a timely manner.
• Supports floor stock and consumable replenishment to maintain production continuity.

Reporting & Collaboration

• Maintains accurate, up‑to‑date stockroom records and ERP transaction history.
• Provides regular updates to the Operations Manager regarding inventory accuracy, shortages, cycle count results, and team performance.
• Collaborates effectively with Production, Procurement, Planning, and Engineering to resolve material issues and prevent disruptions.
• Identifies opportunities to improve stockroom processes, material flow, and inventory accuracy.
• Participates in lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad‑hoc projects as required.
