Job summary

Allen Control Systems is hiring a Software Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure to own CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and on-vehicle deployment tooling. This mid-to-senior role focuses on software-in-the-loop and remote validation workflows to support autonomous weaponized platforms.

You will work with AWS and CMake-based toolchains, contributing to a robust deployment infrastructure for fielded aircraft, while collaborating with an engineering-first team.

Qualifications

• Strong general software engineering fundamentals; proficiency in C++ is required.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with software deployment and integration in embedded environments; comfort with CMake-based build systems.
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines including unit tests, code coverage, and automated checks on GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Own and improve the build system and on-vehicle deployment tooling; manage packaging, versioning, and deployment to aircraft in the field.
• Maintain and extend software-in-the-loop simulation infrastructure for validation against simulated environments on remote servers.
• Manage flight log upload, storage, and retrieval pipelines using cloud storage; ensure logs are accessible to the engineering team.
