Job summary

Allen Control Systems is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure to own the build systems, CI/CD pipelines, software-in-the-loop simulation infrastructure, and on-vehicle deployment tooling. This mid-to-senior role targets a generalist with strong deployment and integration experience.

You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, improve the build system, and support remote flight software validation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ and ability to read and contribute to a C++ codebase.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar.
• Experience with software deployment and integration in embedded or constrained environments, familiar with CMake-based builds.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines including unit test execution, code coverage reporting, and automated build checks on GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Own and improve the build system and on-vehicle software deployment tooling; maintain CMake-based build configurations.
• Maintain and extend software-in-the-loop simulation infrastructure for flight software testing on remote servers.
• Manage flight log upload, storage, and retrieval pipelines using cloud storage; ensure logs are reliably captured and accessible.
