Trane Technologies plc is seeking a Lab Supervisor to lead the CHVAC Engineering Laboratory, guiding technicians and coordinating testing activities to ensure high quality data and safety. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, standard work, and collaboration with CHVAC operations and project teams.

You will manage resources, align tasks with project milestones, and contribute to capital projects while leveraging visual management and lean methods.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in HVAC/R, Electromechanical Technology or Electronics (or equivalent technical degree) with at least 5 years of product development or testing experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of product development or testing experience.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, product design, laboratory equipment and testing practices, or operations environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Active daily interaction with Lab team members to improve CHVAC's ability to produce accurate test data and ensure safety.
• Align and prioritize daily team tasks to meet project expectations.
• Lead a team of Technicians to continuously improve Trane’s CHVAC Engineering Laboratory.
• Review and implement standard work in the Air-Cooled Test area to eliminate waste and adopt best practices.
• Support achievement of performance objectives for the team aligned with business unit metrics.
• Assist in Capital Expenditure projects to enhance CHVAC Laboratories.
• Support timely facility and equipment preventive maintenance using PM system.
• Mentor and motivate team members and support personal development plans.
