Wheaton Bible Church offers a Shepherding Residency (Church for the Church) designed to develop and mentor emerging shepherds through hands-on ministry and structured training. The two-year program emphasizes biblical leadership, gospel-centered living, and intercultural church engagement.

You will participate in weekly ministry execution with a designated team, receive mentorship, and have opportunities to teach or lead in different contexts.

Qualifikationen

• Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and pursues a personal relationship through prayer, Scripture, and community within the local church.
• Called to vocational ministry with a clear sense of calling.
• Meets church leadership requirements (Pastors – 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; Ministers – 1 Timothy 3:8-13).
• Previous meaningful ministry experience as a lay shepherd in a local church setting.
• Life and ministry experience will be considered if lacking formal degrees.

• Have opportunities to teach or lead in different settings as applicable to your ministry team.
• Gain real ministry experience and ownership over the course of the residency.
