Job summary

SitterTree is seeking childcare providers to serve in church nursery or Children's Ministry across the Tacoma area. Hours largely align with service times, primarily Sundays, with Saturdays and some weekdays available, earning $20–$25+ per hour.

You create your schedule and choose where to work using the SitterTree app. Jobs span Tacoma, Lakewood, University Place, Puyallup, Federal Way, Fife, Gig Harbor and nearby communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
• Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, etc.
• Experience with infant and toddler care including diaper changing, naptimes, bottle feeding, etc.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing.
• First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric.

Responsibilities

• Provide childcare in nursery or children's ministry during services and events.
• Work flexible hours, primarily Sunday mornings, with Saturdays and weekdays options.
