Job summary

SitterTree is seeking reliable childcare providers to work in church nursery or Children's Ministry across the Columbia, SC metro area during service times, group meetings, and special events through the SitterTree app.

Most jobs are on Sunday mornings, with additional shifts on Saturdays and weekdays. You create your own schedule and earn typically $20-$25+ per hour, paid within 24 hours for many shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
• Experience in babysitting, nanny work, church nursery, daycare, preschool, or similar is preferred.
• Experience with infant and toddler care including diapering, naptimes, feeding, etc.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing demeanor.
• First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in church nursery or Children's Ministry during services, meetings, and events.
• Follow safety and caregiving protocols according to each church's guidelines.
• Engage children with age-appropriate activities and supervision.
• Communicate with church staff and families as needed.
