Job summary

SitterTree is seeking dependable child care providers to staff churches in the Shawnee, Kansas area for nursery and Children's Ministry roles during church services, group meetings, and events via the SitterTree app.

Assignments are Sundays from August 2 to October 25, 2026, 9:30 AM–11:30 AM CDT, paying $20–$25+ per hour. You control your schedule and where you work; opportunities exist across Shawnee and nearby communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
• Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, etc.
• Experience with infant and toddler care including diaper changing, naptimes, bottle feeding, etc.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing.
• First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric

Responsibilities

• Work in the nursery or Children's Ministry during church services, group meetings, special events, and other activities.
• Sundays from Aug 2– Oct 25, 2026, 9:30 AM–11:30 AM CDT, and pay $20–$25+/hour.

• Work one Sunday or all available Sundays—whatever fits your schedule.
