SitterTree is seeking dependable childcare providers to work in church nurseries and Children’s Ministry across Elmhurst, IL. Roles run on Sundays during services and events, with flexible scheduling and the ability to work as little or as much as you choose.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Churches throughout the Elmhurst, Illinois area are seeking dependable child care providers to work in their nursery or Children’s Ministry during church services, group meetings, special events, and other activities through the SitterTree app.

Jobs are available on Sundays from July 5 – November 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM CDT, and pay $20–$25+/hour. You choose your schedule and decide when and where you would like to work. Work one Sunday or multiple Sundays—whatever fits your availability. Opportunities are available throughout the Elmhurst area and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check
• Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, etc.
• Experience with infant and toddler care including diaper changing, naptimes, bottle feeding, etc.
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric
