Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Custodian for a local church in Edina, MN. This direct-hire, full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and a pay range of $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, setting up rooms for meetings and events, minor maintenance, monitoring building systems, and ensuring safety at day’s end. Candidates should have custodial or facilities experience and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial, janitorial, facilities, or building maintenance work.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and building systems.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong customer service mindset and willingness to support staff, volunteers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility.
• Set up and tear down rooms for meetings, events, and church activities.
• Complete minor maintenance and repair work, including light electrical, plumbing, painting, and door adjustments.
• Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC and boilers.
• Refill supplies and respond to facility needs as they arise.
• Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance and snow removal.
• Secure the building and complete safety checks at the end of each day.
