Job summary

The role covers general cleaning, restrooms, offices and event-space maintenance, plus optional grounds work. Full-time staff typically work 40 hours weekly, with weekend and holiday shifts required; part-time positions may be 20 hours weekly, as scheduled with the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or GED; plus two to three years in a hospitality or facilities cleaning environment is preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to follow written and oral instructions and work well with others.
• Good verbal and written communications skills are essential for daily tasks and reporting.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects restrooms, offices, classrooms, common spaces and maintains supplies.
• Completes daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checklists and records activities.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, carpets and glass surfaces; sweeps, mops, waxes and vacuums.
• Clears waste, dusts furniture and sanitizes telephones.
• Assists with grounds keeping, snow removal and debris cleanup from parking areas.
• Participates in meetings and performs other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
