Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a part-time Facilities Cleaner to support worship spaces, offices, and lobbies. The role requires weekend and evening availability and a flexible 20-25 hour schedule, with exact hours to be arranged.

You will sanitize areas, clean restrooms, manage supplies, assist with event setups, and support security by turning off lights and locking doors after services. A successful background check and reliable, independent work are essential.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize worship areas: clean floors and wipe seating in worship spaces and lobbies before and after services
• Clean ministry and office areas: clean floors, office furniture, ministry items, etc.
• Maintain restrooms: clean and disinfect bathrooms and restock supplies
• Waste removal: empty trash and recycling across locations
• Event set-up assistance as needed
• Facility security: lock doors and turn off lights after events or services
• Stock management: monitor cleaning supplies and notify when items run low
• Other responsibilities as needed based on church events

Job description

Hours: 20-25 hours per week (flexible, requires weekend and evening availability)

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Hourly Rate: $18-$20/hour

Core Responsibilities

• Sanitize Worship Areas: Clean floors and wipe down seating in the worship spaces and lobbies before and after services.
• Clean Ministry and Office Areas: Clean floors, office furniture, ministry items etc. on a regular basis.
• Maintain Restrooms: Clean and disinfect all church bathrooms and restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Waste Removal: Empty trash and recycling bins in offices, classrooms, worship spaces, lobbies, and external entryways.
• Event Set-Up: Assist with setups as needed.
• Facility Security: Lock doors and turn off lights after events or services conclude.
• Stock Management: Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and paper products, then notify management when items run low.
• Other Responsibilities as Needed: Dependent upon church events.
