Job summary

MeadowBrook is seeking a ministry-minded Communications Minister to provide strategic leadership for the church’s internal and external communications.

Working with the senior pastor, staff, and volunteers, you will develop a comprehensive church-wide communication strategy, coordinating digital, print, and social media to tell the story of what God is doing through MeadowBrook and engage our congregation and community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field, preferred experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal and digital communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and carry projects through to completion.
• Comfort with church databases, websites, email/social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Communication Leadership – develop and evaluate a church-wide strategy.
• Church-Wide Coordination – coordinate internal/external communications and calendar.
• Digital and Print Communication – oversee website, email, text, social media, print materials.
• Content and Creative Direction – develop content and collaborate with graphic team.
• Congregational, Guest, and Community Communication – clarify information and engagement paths.
• Promotion and Advertising – plan promotions and evaluate effectiveness.
• Staff Support and Communication Systems – improve processes and use of data/analytics.
• Special Communication – manage urgent or sensitive communications.
