MeadowBrook is seeking a ministry-minded leader to provide strategic leadership for the church's media production and technology ministries. This person will guide people, systems, and environments that support worship, ministry, communication, and day-to-day operations.

Working with the senior pastor and ministry teams, you will develop people, oversee projects and resources, and plan for future needs to ensure reliable, excellent media and technology across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in media production, media technology, or related field.

Media & Technology Minister

Full-Time Ministerial Position

Reports to: Senior Pastor

As part of that growth, we have intentionally expanded one ministry position into two full-time leadership positions: Communications Minister and Media & Technology Minister. This investment creates an opportunity for our next Media & Technology Minister to build on a strong foundation while providing focused leadership for new ministry opportunities.

The Media & Technology Ministry is well established and known for excellence. MeadowBrook has invested significantly in high-quality media and technology systems throughout our facilities, provides a fully funded annual ministry budget, and has developed a team of more than 30 trained and motivated volunteers who want to use their abilities to serve Christ and impact others.

Just as importantly, the person joining us will become part of a ministry staff that genuinely enjoys serving together. Our ten-person ministry team currently averages 13 years of service at MeadowBrook. Job Summary:

MeadowBrook is seeking a ministry-minded leader to provide strategic leadership and oversight for the church's media production and technology ministries. This person will lead the people, systems, and technical environments that support worship, ministry, communication, and day-to-day church operations.

Working collaboratively with the senior pastor, worship ministry, communications ministry, and other staff, the Media & Technology Minister will develop people, strengthen systems, oversee projects and resources, and plan for future needs. The minister will ensure that MeadowBrook's media and technology ministries are reliable, effective, and continually developing to support the mission and ministries of the church.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Media Production Leadership - Provide leadership and oversight for worship services, broadcasts, livestreaming, and special-event production, including audio, video, lighting, presentation, cameras, recording, and related systems. Develop effective production standards, workflows, and preparation processes that promote excellence, consistency, and reliability.
• Technology Leadership & Support - Serve as the primary leader for church-wide technology and technical problem-solving. Help ensure that computers, networks, displays, printers, presentation systems, production equipment, and other ministry technologies are reliable, secure, well-maintained, and appropriately supported. Oversee the technical integration of worship technologies such as Ableton, tracks, and MIDI. Take ownership of technical issues through resolution, either directly or by engaging the appropriate provider or specialist.
• Strategic Planning & Systems Development - Work with church leadership to assess current and future media and technology needs. Develop long-range plans for equipment life cycles, replacement, upgrades, licensing, infrastructure, and capital needs. Research and recommend solutions that are effective and appropriate for MeadowBrook’s ministry.
• Team Leadership & Development - Recruit, train, lead, schedule, equip, disciple, and develop media and technology volunteers. Build a leadership pipeline that develops skilled operators and ministry leaders, and cultivate a culture of preparation, teamwork, humility, service, and excellence to accomplish MeadowBrook’s mission.
• Projects, Vendors & Budget - Plan and lead media and technology projects from evaluation through implementation. Coordinate outside IT providers, contractors, vendors, manufacturers, and systems integrators when specialized expertise is needed. Develop and manage the media and technology budget with appropriate stewardship and attention to ongoing and future needs.
• Staff & Ministry Partnership - Work collaboratively with the worship and communications ministries and with other pastors and ministry leaders to support worship services, events, ministry environments, and church-wide initiatives. Help staff use technology effectively while establishing appropriate systems, standards, and priorities for technical support.

Ministry Expectations and Qualifications:

• - Have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to serve Christ and his church, and align with MeadowBrook's beliefs, mission, and ministry philosophy.
• - Possess a bachelor’s degree in media production, media technology, or similar and/or at least three years of relevant experience in live production, audiovisual systems, broadcast, IT, systems integration, or a related field.
• - Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills, with a working understanding of professional audio, video, lighting, presentation, livestream, computers, networking, and general IT systems.
• - Think strategically about media and technology while also possessing the ability to take ownership of problems and projects and carry them through to completion.
• - Demonstrate the ability to recruit, train, lead, disciple, and develop volunteers and leaders.
• - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people and work collaboratively across ministry areas.
• - Be organized, flexible, calm under pressure, and able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• - Take initiative, exercise good judgment, and follow projects through to completion.
• - Be available for Sundays, special events, and other times required by the church's ministry calendar.
• - Be willing to relocate to the Gadsden, Alabama area.

Compensation and Benefits:

MeadowBrook is committed to providing competitive compensation and a strong benefits package for this full-time ministerial position. Benefits include health insurance, employer matching contributions of up to 5% to a 403(b) retirement plan, paid vacation and leave accrual, and paid holidays. The salary range is $65,000-$70,000 depending on experience. Complete benefit information will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.
