Job summary

Eddy seeks a Project Safety Manager (CHST) for a year-long Los Angeles, CA construction project. You will develop and implement a comprehensive safety program, conduct site inspections, and enforce regulatory compliance across workers and subs.

Strong leadership will drive safety culture on site. The role requires a CHST credential and a Bachelor's in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, with a minimum of five years of civil construction safety experience, including underground work.

Qualifications

• CHST credential required.
• 5+ years of civil construction safety management experience.
• Underground construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program for the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and enforce compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate safety program effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Lead safety training for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and preventative actions.
• Maintain accurate safety records and incident reports, training logs, and inspections.
