Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Anesthesia Chronic Pain Service in Burlington and Peabody, MA. The APP will deliver direct patient care and manage complex cases in ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Qualifications include PA or RN with a Master’s, MA license, DEA registration, NCCPA certification, and prescription protocols. OR experience is strongly preferred and compensation is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification.
• Master’s degree in Nursing for Practitioner RN.
• Current MA license to practice.
• DEA registration with Mass DPH registration where applicable.
• Written prescription privilege protocols signed by attending physicians.
• Previous operating room experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the care of patients to provide safe, effective, efficient, and timely patient-centered care.
• Act as a liaison between visiting nurses, clinical staff, and consult services.
• Consult with physicians or surgeons regarding care for more complex diagnoses.
• Provide direct patient care and management for all opioid patients.
